Government publishes new water cycle studies guidance
The Environment Agency has published a new water cycle studies guidance. Aimed at local planning authorities (LPA's) and developers, the guidance highlights an effective approach to producing a water cycle study for proposed development plan documents as well as developments. A completed water cycle study will help LPA's/developers decide on the necessiity of an Integrated water management strategy. The water cycle studies guidance compliments the CIRIA produced guidance Delivering better water management through the planning system (C787).
